Steak Fillet with Coffee Crust

20 minutes 4 servings


  • 4 thick steaks of about 200g each
  • 1 tbsp coffee powder
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps olive oil
  1. Mix the coffee powder, black pepper and salt.
  2. Brush your steaks with half the oil and then press them into the coffee mixture, removing the excess if necessary.
  3. Heat your grill up well, adding the oil.
  4. When the surface is very hot, brown your steaks for 3 minutes on each side.
  5. Take the meat from the grill to the oven at medium temperature, for 8 minutes (this time refers to well-done meat).
  6. After that time, remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes and then serve.
